Dr. Veja Tillman

Dr. Veja A. Tillman is a 2002 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. After completing a rotating internship in Internal medicine, surgery and emergency critical care in Coral Springs Florida, she embarked on a journey to further build her skills. Dr. Tillman transitioned into private practice while continuing to provide emergency and critical care services in the Florida Panhandle and Georgia. Her knowledge, skills, compassion, and “way with the animals” earned her a multitude of positive comments, purrs, and paw shakes!

In 2007, she relocated to the Southwest Florida area to establish a veterinary relief practice focused on supporting the staffing needs of the veterinarians by providing wellness, surgery, and emergency care services for small animals, exotics, and pocket pets. Her veterinary practice area included clinics in Jacksonville and the Atlantic Coast, Panama City Beach (the Panhandle), Central, and Southwest Florida.

Dr. Tillman places a very high priority on the quality of care provided to patients and their owners. She continuously builds upon and reinforces her knowledge of current diagnostic techniques, medical treatments and surgical procedures. Through her veterinary relief practice, she also provided services for humane societies, county domestic animal agencies, animal rescue groups, and high volume spay/neuter clinics throughout the State of Florida.

Dr. Tillman and her husband, Gerard Carrington, live in the San Carlos area enjoying all the recreation Southwest Florida has to offer.

Emely Class

Emely joined the Just 4 Pets team as a Veterinary Assistant in March of 2021. Emely graduated from Southern Technical College Veterinary Assisting Program in 2021 and joined the Just 4 Pets team in March. She has a 2 year old Shih Tzu / Chihuahua mix named Simba. In her spare time, Emely enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities like going to the beach and fishing.
